We accept Medicare and are in network with most major PPO insurance plans. For most insurance plans, you will just pay the normal co-pay you would pay for a clinic appointment plus a marketplace fee*. For Medicare with secondary insurance, most visits will be at no cost. *The Marketplace Fee is a variable fee charged to patients. The Marketplace fee helps support safety compliance, healthcare technology, and sourcing of physical therapists.

Yes, typically you can have consistent care with the same physical therapist but in the rare case that schedules don't allow, we'll inform you ahead of time.

We'll make plans to come to your home, office, or wherever and whenever works best for you. Give us a call to work out all the details.

Most likely no. However, some insurance providers may require a physician referral, see below for more details. But no worries, we'll reach out to you if that's the case.

Commercial insurance (CA only): Direct Access rules do not require a prescription for physical therapy for up to 12 visits. After 12 visits or 45 days (whichever comes first), the PeteHealth team will help you obtain a prescription for more visits, when necessary.

Medicare rules: Medicare patients are required to have a signed plan of care for physical therapy. Your PeteHealth physical therapist will develop a plan of care during your first evaluation, and the PeteHealth team will work to obtain approval from a physician. A new plan of care will need to be submitted for approval every 90 days or 10 visits (whichever comes sooner), which the PeteHealth team will also help facilitate.
